What We Bring To You
The Boxes
1 for each team
We supply a solid plain wooden box with hinged lid for each team to work with, this is the basis for their puzzle box.
Metal Hasp and Staple
Quality metal hardware
Each box is fitted with a metal hasp and staple so we can lock them with the padlocks.
4 Digit Padlocks
Combination lock on all boxes
Each box is supplied with a metal 4 digit combination padlock, The code for each padlock is picked by the pupils.

WHY
What happens on a day with us?
What a school of hard locks day looks like?
Our program is called the `School of Hard Locks` where we come to you and spend a day doing a workshop with the pupils, this is normally geared to pupils in the year 6 bracket at primary school level or any year for secondary. This normally takes place in the school hall / gym where you split up the pupils up into groups of 10 maximum. If this isn’t practical due to the hall being used for other things we can do the briefing in the hall to give them all the instructions for the day and then head into the classrooms for them to work. We provide a plain wooden box with a lid, a hasp and staple and a combination padlock for each group. Over the course of the day, each team will need to use their skills of Team work, Communication, imagination, Art, Math & English to design their own puzzle box that the other teams get to try and unlock at the end of the day. Each team will need to come up with the puzzles, design them and decorate the boxes to suit the theme they have chosen to work with. as much as it is a day where they will have a lot of fun they are also learning new skills.
